1. Pre-book — always
The metered tariff at AYT jumps 50% between 00:00 and 06:00. A pre-booked transfer is sold at the same EUR rate at 02:30 as at 14:00. Save 30–50% just by booking before takeoff.
2. Share your flight number, not your scheduled time
Drivers track ARR via Flightaware. If your inbound is 90 minutes late, you pay nothing extra and the driver shifts automatically.
3. Tell the driver your terminal
Antalya Airport has two international terminals (T1, T2) and one domestic (DT). Mention the airline so the driver knows which exit to use.
4. Tip in cash
Card payments work, but Turkish drivers prefer EUR/USD/TRY cash tips (10% is generous).
5. Decline "free upgrade" offers from queue touts
If someone offers you a "VIP transfer" at the airport without you having booked, walk away. Real transfers know your name.
6. Ask for water and Wi-Fi
VIP Mercedes Vito vehicles include both at no charge — but you have to ask. Many drivers don't volunteer.
7. Confirm the return leg on arrival
Lock in your return transfer date the moment you check in. Hotel reception will help you message Taximarkantalya on WhatsApp — and you usually get a 10–15% bundle discount.
